Too many Jewish Americans have never dealt with any kind of antisemitism never mind lethal islamist antisemitism, and they still cant handle the fact that there are billions of people on this planet that want us dead (both as Americans and as Jews). And no I do not feel sorry for them, while I pity them I can't stand them. It's people like them that will get the rest of us killed.

Today was pretty quiet. I picked up my cat's thyroid medicine, wrote an article with some quotes from my Israeli friends, and went to the Aldi store. I also chatted with my two most pro-Israel friends from my previous life.

Read tons of holocaust literature, literature of those who lived under communism, and fictional dystopias. They always sounded way too familiar! And remember, the US was the bad guys in the Vietnamese, and many of “us” were opposed to the war and, as in all wars, had ambivalence about our boys being soldiers. There was undoubtedly analogous situation in Israel on October 6. Hamas did not want any support from Israelis. As things are, there are no good guys in this. Only third parties can help. Israel is sill not one thing.
