This makes me so sad. It’s part of the “dumbing down” of our schools. Even the AP classes have lowered their standards.

They used to remove the chronically bad behaved kids but then the 60s and 70s came about that made it racist because the majority of those removed were black so the federal government threatened to with hold funding if these children were removed from school. So now kids like Zahir are punished because liberals once again have pushed through more bad ideas to which they never will have to suffer the consequences.

Zahir will get no attention because he is bright and well behaved. He will never reach his academic potential

I once read a parenting tip: ignore the kid when he misbehaves, & heap praise on him when he's good, and he'll keep doing good.

Of course, you really can't ignore the kids disrupting class...
