Because people stood up they rescinded the executive order. Nothing is put on hold for anyone. People still have a voice and it is important that they use them in every way!

And you are right, no one is coming to help us but us. 🎗️ 🤟🏻

Yup. Just showmanship, I think, but I don't blame people who were scared at all. As we are illustrating, it is possible to care both about the poor here and about Israel and to object to antisemitism. It's the far end of both sides of the political spectrum that tries to put us into boxes.

I don't blame them for being scared too. I thought they were stopping everything too. My first thought was that you can't take someone's safety net payments without due process. It's a constitutional question (lawyer brain here) and then when they started saying food banks, food kitchens, school programs and other needed agencies would not get monies to keep helping people that too was what set the country off.

And you are correct. It's the ridiculous fringes that make everything awful. the middle and what I call the normies, have good handles on everything. We want our taxes to go to help our fellow Americans, we want to support Israel against genocidal islamists and we want a government that isn't made up of jerks too.
