So kitty doesn't like being under blankets. This reminds me of the short-haired (I forget the exact breed) terrier at the stable I used to ride at. She refused to wear a coat (she actually took it off, I don't know how), & would shiver. So I'd put my jacket over her when I went to ride (I was otherwise layered), & after my lesson, I'd find her on top of it. I didn't understand, but now I think I get it.
She always expected my jacket, to the point of standing there in the middle of the office, when it wasn't cold, & voluntarily shivering. I told her it wasn't cold & she wasn't getting it.
