Thank you! If I'm found unconscious, administer Israel Update immediately and I'll be fine.

Israel Update reminds me of an Italian TV cooking show I saw a few times when in Italy. The married couple from Sicily would cook together but mostly argue about who knew better how to cook the dish. You have stumbled upon the best English language coverage of Israel. As someone who has lived there, has family there, speaks fluent Hebrew, and has followed news and life and politics there for over 50 years, there is no better window into what is going on.

April, not sure if you get i24 News on Cable. I do and listen each day. You can also get it via the internet. Often their newscasts are entirely in Hebrew, other times in English. You get excellent news coverage of Israel, and also other mideast countries. A few days ago they broadcast the recorded Yom Hatzmaut celebrations and it was marvelous, much singing and dancing with top notch choreography. Many happy faces in the crowd jumping up and down or swaying with the music, flag waving, lots of positivity.

That sounds wonderful. I'll check it out. I used to subscribe to several Israeli newspapers suggested by my friend Arnie aka Ari but I had to cancel all my subscriptions because I couldn't afford them anymore.

I pay for cable tv via Verizon FIOS. i24 News comes with the package, I don't pay extra for it. During a few weeks when it was removed from cable I accessed it for free via the internet.

My Israeli husband took my cousins from Buffalo to a bakery cafe in Hollywood FL that is named Florentin after Tel Aviv’s original arts district. It had the vibe of being there. Eating Israeli salad is the same vibe, yes!!!
