My elderly parents are here and my job is here, which really isn’t easily transferable to anywhere else. Bari Weiss has been so great covering Israel. It was also fun to follow the live comments. Gadi says they are going to be doing Israel Update more often. That would be wonderful!
I don’t think I saw Mike live at that time but I did see Bari’s interview with him. I’m glad that plan to do more Israel Updates! I never laughed to hard at toe people talking about deadly serious subjects.
I’m scared and disappointed, but not surprised. I lean left politically, but it seems increasingly clear to me that people who are like me—left leaning Jews—are being marginalized in today’s Democratic Party.
For sure. The Dems take left leaning Jews for granted. They took historically left leaning white women for granted too and maybe three or four of them have realized that was a mistake.
The interesting thing about who voted for Mamdani. The working class went for Cuomo. It was the upper westside, upper east side trust fund spoiled little shits who will never have to deal with the results of the policies they want to enact. The worst part is that 20% of his vote was from young Jews.
I absolutely lost it, even though I knew this was going to happen. Told the hubby I want to move when we can. I live in the suburbs.
