I’ve researched it a lot - I have a degree in public health so I can read the studies myself. I’ve also done varieties of low carb before and they work great for me. This summer I’m working on a project about it but I’ll probably continue my basically Mediterranean diet.
I once worked with a woman who didn't know how to cook. Everything was take-out -- and we know how healthy that isn't (and she was pregnant...). I hope those kids are learning to cook healthy food.
If you're not pre-diabetic or trying to lose wt, I wouldn't do the low carb thing.
