So, I was in 9th grade, had a crush on a nice looking guy. But the crush came because he was so sweet, in many ways -- all around decent guy, & intelligent too. But I knew we could never be together for reasons I will not go into. Then one day I realized I was so miserable because I was feeling sorry for myself, so I said 'self: don't do that,' & that was the end of it.
