I would take pretty much any advice from you. I appreciate how you are both passionate and reasonable at the same time -- a rare ability.

Charlie Kirk was a strong and influential voice to milleniels, advocating for Judeo-Christian values, Christianity, and strong supporter of Israel despite the constant attacks he received for such support while visiting campuses, and from phony MAGA folk who shared antisemitic inclinations with folk on the left.

We have lost a strong voice for conservatism, Judeo-Christian values, and a critical advocate for Israel among young conservatives and Christians. NoaMagid (@נועה מגיד | Noa magid) posted: RIP Legend @charliekirk11 https://x.com/noamagid/status/1965930544489005457?s=51&t=N_sbjjm9DZo_wuBImpCxlw

If they’re going to take a right, let’s take a hell of a hard left.

There is no order—because I’m a leftist.

Trans rights

Immigrants

The poor

Public education

Separation of church and state

Three branches of government

A working and living wage

Affordable housing

A strong social safety net

No laws that harm any group of people

An end to food insecurity

Gay rights

Sensible gun laws

Free online education

This is the part where we admit we can do better.

Being a leftist is where our superpower lives: in the belief that our tax dollars can do more together than they ever could alone.

And this list isn’t finished.

I invite you to add your voice, your vision, and your ideas—because the future we build is stronger when we build it collectively.

I was a union organizer for twenty years and a harm reduction activist for seven give or take. And a public school teacher. I agree with most all of your bullet points and am very disappointed in the Democratic Party’s failure to deliver. They ceased to be the party of workers and made it all about identity politics. Also who was it who said that the problem with socialism is you run out of other people’s money. Not to mention how the left has made Israel and any Jew who supports Israel - which is most Jews- into the enemy. I’m disappointed and I was sad but now I’m over it and like so many centrists I’m no longer blindly voting Democrat. If they want my vote back they can earn it and not by making excuses for murderers and assassins.

I’m tired of aiming small. I’m tired of making a list of minimum requirements.

Have you thought of becoming a union organizer? It’s a good way to accomplish something real.
