I’m seeing very few American flags, not even the dime store variety. Some have been modified with “250” in the blue field. And there are a few along the road in my subdivision. But that’s about it. Where IS the patriotism? You may disagree about politics, but never about where and why you live.

They get free breakfast in the cafeteria at school. Most also bring snacks from the corner store. Like Doritos.

I am so glad that we moved 8 years ago from So. Cal to So. Carolina. Almost every house on my street has an outdoor American flag all the time. I and some others have a light shining on it when it’s dark.
