There is much truth and comfort in your essay. Being invisible, or being no one as you put it, can bring you peace and calmness, let's you go about your day without fear of harassment, anger, or violence. Unless of course it is random, like the sudden violence face by that poor young Ukrainian woman on the tram in Charlotte. She sank into her sear, bothered nobody, did nothing to bring attention to herself, but being white and blond was not invisible to the monster sitting behind her.
The world needs more people who see things clearly. We can disagree but not dehumanize or use violence outside of a narrow set of circumstances.
